Sending You Sunshine

Hello again! Now that I have a little time to craft (which, I might add, is very therapeutic), I thought I'd dive into a Paper Pumpkin kit from last June of last year. The kit was designed to make little 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" note cards, and though that's really cute, it's not the kind of card I find most useful. I modified the pieces in the kit to make a couple of standard 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"  cards.

The "sending you sunshine" was borrowed from another stamp set, and I found it quite appropriate for the times. The border on the left was stamped, and I jazzed up the circular element with some Wink of Stella. The little white dots were meant to be glue dots, but I thought they would look kind of cute as faux enamel dots, with the tops unpeeled.

I'm sharing this at the NBUS challenge. Hi, Darnell!

Products Used:
Stamps: Sentiment (Hero Arts)
Card Stock: Old Olive, Crumb Cake
Ink Pads: Old Olive, Soft Suede
Accessories: Wink of Stella
All other ingredients: Paper Pumpkin Kit June 2019 (Stampin' Up)

Stay home, stay safe and be well, everyone!

Sending (((hugs))),

Hi Sandie! You've been on my mind considering your area, so it's wonderful to see you again! You are right about how our crafting is therapeutic. We are very lucky that way. I love how you reengineered the note card kit into two beautiful tropical cards! Every beachy element is represented and the whole design takes us away from it all to the ocean, where we can lay under the palm trees and search for sand dollars! Mwah! Take care, be safe, and thank you for sharing at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

We could all use a place like this to run away to right now, me included! This is such a fun card!
