This time around there are no "Toppings", so it's Anything Goes Birthday!
I needed to make a card for a male acquaintance, and was completely stumped as to what subject matter to use. He's not an outdoorsy kind of guy and not into sports. Then I remembered that he works for a paint store, and I've had a collection of paint chips in my drawer waiting to be used. I used a small rectangle die to cut out the pieces, and arranged them in ombre fashion. I used another die for the sentiment. This card was quick, easy and fun!
Here's the paint chip I used, from Sherman Williams, where he works!
Stamp Sets: Say it Happy (Technique Tuesday)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah)
Ink Pads: Navy (Hero Arts)
Tools: Big Shot, Straight Talk Happy Dies (Technique Tuesday), Nesting Rectangle Dies (Hero Arts)
Accessories: Enamel Dots (Echo Park)

Sandy, this card stood out a mile to me on the STB blog! I absolutely love the clean lines and the ombre coloring of the paint chips! And now to find out it is for a guy who works at a paint store? Genius! Pinning! Hugs, Darnell
