Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!
This time around the "Toppings" options is "Stripes". However, you can also chose to do an Anything Goes birthday card, the choice is yours!
Stripes make me think of masculine cards, which I am always in need of. I decided on a nautically themed card, with the stripes from the patterned paper as my starting point. I used a new to me stamp set from Verve, Learning to Sail, and colored the image with my Copic markers.
I tried adding a birthday sentiment on the tag, but my white embossing powder was not cooperating. I guess it's time for a new jar. In the meantime, my birthday sentiment will go on the inside, using another stamp set from Verve.
I'm playing along with the Inkspirational Challenge for the first time, and the word prompt for this challenge is Birthday.
Stamp Sets: Learning to Sail, Wishing You (Verve)
