Toucan Hello PP398

Hi friends! It's Sunday and that means time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! This week the wonderful Jaydee is our hostess with a clean and simple challenge: Birds.

Toucan Party is currently my favorite bird set. I love these colorful creatures, and they are so much fun to color. I wouldn't normally use patterned paper for a CAS card, but in very small doses I hope its ok, and I tried to balance it out with plenty of white space. The simple little greeting is from a set by Technique Tuesday.

I haven't been able to color every single day for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, but I'm trying. Some nights I just can't get up off the couch.... I'm sure you all can relate!

Stamp Sets: Toucan Party (Newtons Nook), Rhododendron (Technique Tuesday)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah)
Patterned Paper: Summer Fun (Echo Park)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Tumbled Glass Distress Ink (Ranger)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Toucan Party Dies (Newtons Nook)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave a comment, and then head over to visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players. We hope you'll play along with our challenge this week, too!

Inky hugs :)

Hi Sandy . . . boy, can I relate to being tired. I am an earlier riser, 5 a.m. and I love it!
This little tucan is so cute. I like the stamp set because the birds are big enough to color. Maybe I'll try one day.

Sandy, these are some of my favorite colors and you used them beautifully to color those leaves. I love the little touch of black and white horizontal stripes - they echo your toucan beautifully! Thanks for rocking my challenge this week

I love your layered toucan Sandy - perfectly coloured and a fab choice of paper for your panel behind. Gorgeous! And I can totally result to being unable to rise from the couch at the end of a long day - crafting when tired holds far less appeal!

I think the patterned paper is perfect to make your toucan POP! The watercolored background is just perfect! Don't you just love that black and white paper! It adds so much detail to a card! Have a great weekend, My Friend! XX
