Hi friends! It's Sunday and that means time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. This week the sweet and talented Laurie is our hostess with a sketch challenge.
So here's my take on the sketch. I knew I wanted to use this new-to-me stamp set from Verve for the focal point, but I wasn't sure where to fit the sentiment so I shifted the vertical panels to the right a bit. I think this is the first time I am using these dies, too. I almost used a real button, but liked the way the piercings in the paper button echoes those in the flourish.
Stamp Sets: Dream Big (Verve)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Smoke, Sunshine (Simon Says Stamp)
Patterned Paper: Classique Beauty (Carta Bella)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Butter Bar (Hero Arts)
Tools: Big Shot, Scalloped Flower Dies (Verve), Pierced Fancy Flourish Die, Vintage Button Dies (My Favorite Things)
Accessories: Enamel Dots (Simple Stories)
Inky hugs :)

Good Morning Sandy, Like this kind of card. The colors are so "in" now. Yellow and gray are all over the stores. The button is perfect.
:)
Those colors! I love them! Your bloom is gorgeous and I LOVE the flourish. Have a great day!
This is not a colour combo I use often Sandy but it works really well and I love how your plaid pattern ties everything together. Lovely pierced detail on the flower and flourish too - so pretty!
I think yellows and grays are so pretty together and your card is a beauty! Fabulous flower die cuts and love the flourish accent. Hope you're having a good week ~ Hugs, Annie
Sandy... the flourish is the absolute perfect touch to your card... love it!
Oh Sandy, this is so lovely! I love the color combo and the mix of patterns. That flower and the paper pierced piece is so pretty! BRAVO! I hope you are having a great week, My Friend! XX
Love the contrast of the soft curves of the flourish with the linear pattern of the plaid. Great colors together and that button die is fantastic!
