Fun in the Sun Beachy Birthday

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!

This time around the "Toppings" options is "Beachy Birthday". However, you can also chose to do an Anything Goes birthday card, the choice is yours!

For someone who has lived on an island her whole life and loves the beach, I have a serious lack of anything beach related when it comes to stamps. As a matter of fact, this challenge sent me on a shopping trip. It was a necessary purchase though, don't you think? Left to my own devices, all my stamps would be flowers :) I stamped and colored my little PI girl with Copic's. As the set doesn't come with a birthday sentiment, I pieced together my own using a few different sets.

It's day 5 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, and I'm still a-coloring!

Stamp Sets: Fun in the Sun (My Favorite Things)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Surf Blue (Simon Says Stamp)
Patterned Paper: Sunkissed (Doodlebug)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Fun in the Sun Dies (My Favorite Things), Circle Dies (Sizzix)
Accessories: Enamel Dots (Simple Stories)

I'm so glad you paid me a visit today! If you have a moment please leave a comment, then visit the rest of the wonderful Design Team at Seize the Birthday. We'd love for you to play along, too!

Inky hugs :)

Yes, it about time you have some beachy stamps in your collection. Any excuse to buy more stamps is a good one. I have this set and use it often. Love that you turned it into a birthday card.

I guess views in real life make one lack it in stamps!! But glad you got a new one with that reason in mind! :D ...and turned it into a great card too!! :)

That was a necessary purchase for sure :)! Great combination of the patterned papers and choice of the Copic colors! They go perfectly together!

So cute. Love your coloring. I have that PI image also. I'm with you on the floral stamps too, but do manage to have a few other designs. :)
