STB Patterned Paper

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!

This time around the "Toppings" options is "Patterned Paper". However, you can also chose to do an Anything Goes birthday card, the choice is yours!

I was excited about this challenge because I LOVE patterned paper and have lots of it! I used a really pretty piece that I've been hoarding with the intentions of making it the focal point of a card. As a matter of fact, I used three different patterns from the same pack, and even the flower next to the sentiment was cut from the patterned paper. The only thing I stamped was the sentiment.

Stamp Sets: Agapanthus (Technique Tuesday)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Fog (Simon Says Stamp)
Patterned Paper: Welcome Home (Carta Bella)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Accessories: Enamel Dots (Carta Bella)

I'm so glad you paid me a visit today! If you have a moment please leave a comment, then visit the rest of the wonderful Design Team at Seize the Birthday. We'd love for you to play along, too!

Inky hugs :)

No wonder you were hoarding it...it's GORGEOUS! And you succeeded in making it the focal point! Very pretty! I might have to play along this week too!

Ooohhh.. that must be one pretty stack!! I am totally in love with the card you've created - the florals look totally gorgeous!! Love the pairing of the grey cardbase - it looks wonderful behind those pretty florals.

I had to drop in and tell you how much I love this card. The patterned paper too and I have a lot as well. You know I am sure. Love how the papers go together so well and you were very smart to use one of the flowers on the print.
