PP395 Sketch

Hi friends! It's Sunday and that means time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! This week the sweet and talented LeAnne is our hostess with an awesome sketch challenge.

Here's my interpretation of the sketch. I had this stack of patterned paper on my desk from the last card I created, and wasn't quite ready to put it away because I love it so much. This was a really simple card, thanks to coordinating paper, ephemera, and enamel dots. The only thing stamped was the sentiment. There's no rule that says we need to spend hours on every card, right?

Stamp Sets: Beautiful Lady (Altenew)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Mossy Meadow (SU), Fog (Simon Says Stamp)
Patterned Paper: Welcome Home (Carta Bella)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Accessories: Welcome Home Ephemera & Enamel Dots (Carta Bella)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave a comment, and then head over to visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players. We hope you'll play along with our challenge this week, too!

Inky hugs :)

Sandy love your card, stamps used, and the cute dsp! Love the CAS style. What a great sketch. Definitely need to case this layout. :) TFS!

There's no rule about having to spend hours at all! Great result. Of course, there's having the paper and ephemera and then there's knowing what to do with it - and you ace it in that department!

This is SO trendy right now....reminds me of the succulents that Dana is in love with! Pretty soothing colors and easy as can be...love it when the paper does so much of the work!

I can see why you didn't want to put that DSP away! It's so pretty and I love how you incorporated the images with the sentiment too! Hugs, Annie

Sandy... what a fabulous use of patterned paper... love how you pull these cards together. So wish I had an eye for combos... I struggle so much with sketches. Just a really lovely card!

That paper is just lovely Sandy - this is a great card, with a wonderful modern feel. I love the repeating images on the sentiment tag too. A great card!
