STB Teal and White

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!

This time around the "Toppings" options is "Teal and White". However, you can also chose to do an Anything Goes birthday card, the choice is yours!

In searching through my card stock and ink collection, the closest color to teal I could come up with is the Island Indigo I used from Stampin' Up. I kept my card simple, with a few die cut flowers and leaves, and a sponged background using my favorite stencil from Heidi Swapp.

Intruder alert! It appears as though someone would like my attention... Could it be perhaps that it's dinner time?

Stamp Sets: Bold Blooms (Ellen Hutson)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Island Indigo (Stampin' Up)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Tumbled Glass Distress Ink (Ranger)
Tools: Big Shot, Bold Blossoms Dies (Ellen Hutson), Mosaic Stencil (Heidi Swapp)
Accessories: Moonshine Sequins (Simon Says Stamp)

I'm so glad you paid me a visit today! If you have a moment please leave a comment, then visit the rest of the wonderful Design Team at Seize the Birthday. We'd love for you to play along, too!

Inky hugs :)

Its a beautiful card! I love the stencil background, and how you've kept the flowers clean and neat, the solid, dark teal color really looks good!

Love the used of the stencil in the background. I must remember that. The stencil on your card really makes for a great background to place the dies.

Love how your cat snuck into the photo and you just went with it! LOL. Thats' what I think is so great about teal...it has many shades and Island Indigo is one of my favorite colors! Great card Sandy!

Your card is so pretty and I love the color. Love the stenciled background and the cut out flowers and leaves. Cute photos with your kitty sneaking in.

(Sometimes mine gets a little impatient with the time I take photographing cards, too! :D)
The softly stencilled background on this is perfect with the darker flowers! Glad to know I'm not the only one with somewhat limited teal supplies around here. ;)
