PP383 Spring has Sprung

Hi friends! It's Sunday and that means time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! This week the amazing Jaydee is our hostess with a theme challenge: Spring has Sprung!

I don't know about you but I am more than ready for the arrival of Spring. I'm also happy to dive into my stash of floral stamps. I was inspired by the tulips in the challenge badge, and inked up this new-to-me set for the first time. I colored my tulips with Copic markers, sponged a sunny yellow background, and combined it all with a sunny sentiment.

I'm also linking up my card to The Flower Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge; both themes are Anything Goes!

Stamp Sets: Spring Flowers, Flip Flop Season (Simon Says Stamp)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Smooth Watercolor (Bristol)
Patterned Paper: Sunny Days Ahead (Echo Park)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Mustard Seed Distress Ink (Ranger)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Spring Flowers Dies (Simon Says Stamp)
Accessories: Sequins (Simon Says Stamp)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave a comment, and then head over to visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players. We hope you'll play along with our challenge this week, too!

Inky hugs :)

Oh my, another gorgeous one Sandy! Your soft but bright and sunny background is a beautiful way to make these gorgeous red tulips pop! Love the clean black lines of the image and how you’ve coordinated it with the bold sentiment. Such a fabulous layout too. Stay safe and warm in your crazy winter weather—keep dreaming of spring!

Sandy, this is so beautiful! I love tulips! They are my favorite flower! They are all in bloom in ATL and tonight is supposed to freeze. BOO! The sunny yellow background just makes these beauties shine! I sure hope you stay safe in all that snow in NY! XX

Your card is so bright and happy Sandy, I love the vibrant red tulips against the yellow sponging! We're fortunate here in Western Oregon, Spring has finally shown it's face a bit this weekend, but this card sure brightens any day regardless of the weather!
