You Are Sew Awesome

Hi friends! It's Sunday and that means time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! This week the wonderful and talented LeAnne is our hostess with a Clean and Simple challenge: Sew Much Fun.

I knew right away that I wanted to use my SU Quilt Builder Framelits for this, but only the adorable little yarn spool and needle. Conveniently, the equally adorable patterned paper I had recently ordered arrived the same day I was ready to sit down and craft. Love these papers! Both elements were 'sew much fun' that I added very little else, except some stitching on the layers in keeping with the theme. Oh, and I should add that I didn't have the sentiment that I wanted so I just printed one out on my PC. Easy peasy. Thanks LeAnne, this was a fun challenge!

Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana (Stampin' Up), Ivory (Simon Says Stamp)
Patterned Paper: I'd Rather Be Crafting (Echo Park)
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Cross Stitched Recctangle Dies (Lawn Fawn), Quilt Builder Framelits (Stampin' Up)
Accessories: Silver Foil Paper (Stampin' Up), Yarn BonBons (Lion Brand Yarns)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave a comment, and then head over to visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players. They really rocked this challenge! We hope you'll play along this week, too!

Inky hugs :)

Sandy... great card. The patterned paper is perfect and your thread spool is so realistic. Initially I thought the needle was a charm...amazing.

Darling card, Sandy! I too though the needle was real--great choice in die-cuts. I can see why you needed this paper--it is adorable. Love the cross stitched rectangle frame too--just perfect!

What a lovely little spool and thread. It goes so well with the little cross stitches around the edge. So very sweet! I've never tried out printing my own sentiment on computer. Yours looks great!
