Valentine Banner

Hi friends! No card today, but I have a Valentine banner to share with you instead. My good friend Dena and I got together over a couple of nights and we both made one, though each is slightly different. I used several different dies from Lawn Fawn, a really pretty paper pack from Authentique, and lots of red glitter paper.

The large banners were cut with the Stitched Party Banner dies. I cut a second layer out of card stock and adhered them together so the banner would be more sturdy. The Love sentiment was cut three times from card stock and once from red glitter paper and then stacked up for some dimension.

The smaller banners were cut out by hand, and the rhinestones were colored with a red sharpie. This was a very simple project, and lots of fun to make!

Isn't this inspiration board from LawnFawnatics fabulous?! I was inspired by the colors, the hearts, the glitter and the banner.

Card Stock: Pink Pirouette, Real Red (Stampin Up), Red Glitter Paper (American Crafts)
Patterned Paper: Beloved (Authentique)
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Party Banner Dies, Stitched Heart Dies, Scripty Love Die (Lawn Fawn), Circle Dies (Sizzix),
Accessories: Baker's Twine (Martha Stewart), Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Rhinestones (Stampin Up), Button (from my sewing stash), Red Sharpie

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
