Merry Little Quilt, MM271 & SIP131

Hi everyone! Here in the northeast we got walloped by Mother Nature yesterday. Blizzard conditions had me housebound, with lots of time to craft - not such a bad thing! This card was a straggler from Christmas which never got completed, and I finished it up yesterday. It uses some scraps of one of my oldest patterned paper stacks which I could never part with, and I finally used up the last of it. The sentiment is from a new stamp set I'm using for the first time. I love the font, and it had me humming the song all day. For the base of my card, I cut out all the little squares with a punch, adhered them, and then ran it through an embossing folder.

I was inspired by two challenges: the embossing theme at Merry Monday, and the embossing theme at Stamp Ink Paper

Hi Sandy, Happy New Year!
This is one of my favorite layouts. I love to use up every scrap. I think this looks beautiful with a pattern to the quilt too!
