PP364 Autumn Floral

Hi friends! It's Sunday and that means time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! This week I have the pleasure and honor of being your hostess with a theme challenge: Autumn Floral. Didn't Nance come up with the most amazing challenge badge?! I love it, just gorgeous. I had something else in mind originally, but Nance inspired me to kick it up a notch!

Though these elements are certainly not necessary to play along with this challenge, I was inspired by the berries and woodgrain. When coloring my images I laid down a base layer using Copic markers, then after that was nice and dry I added detail using colored pencils. My ingredient list is pretty long because I kept fiddling and playing with my card for a few evenings :)

I was glad to hear that the 30 Day Coloring Challenge was extended, so I have the opportunity to share my creation there, as well.

Stamp Sets: Beautiful Day, Peony Bouquet, Beautiful Lady (Altenew)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Black (Simon Says Stamp), Woodgrain (Altenew)
Patterned Paper: Words of Love (Carta Bella)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Versamark
Markers: Copic
Colored Pencils: Prismacolor
Tools: Big Shot, Heat Tool, Beautiful Day Dies, Peony Bouquet Dies (Altenew), Stitched Rectangle Dies (Lawn Fawn)
Accessories: White EP (Simon Says Stamp)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave a comment, and then head over to visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players. We hope you'll play along with our challenge this week, too!

Inky hugs :)

  2. Well Sandy, you certainly stepped it up a notch. It is gorgeous. I love the 30 Day Color Challenge too, but I only watch, no coloring for me. Do you like Copics? SU is coming out with "Blends" today. I am not sure I should give them a try?
    Happy & Blessed Sunday!

  13. My jaw literally dropped open when I saw your card, Sandy. I'm pretty sure I needed a drool cup! You perfectly captured the profusion of colors that personify autumn in this gorgeous creation. The layered elements of flowers, berries and leaves is stunning on it's own but your layout and pop of black makes me swoon. Absolutely STUNNING card, my friend. You blew your own challenge out of the water!! :-)
