Pastel Ornaments, PP361

Hi friends! It's Sunday and that means time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! This week the wonderful and talented Jaydee is our hostess with a pretty color challenge.

It's funny that many of us on the DT decided to use these colors for a Christmas card, myself included. My most recent stamp purchase is this ornament set from Hero Arts, and I think they look so pretty in these non-traditional colors. I took the liberty of adding some soft gray patterned paper and card stock, but the sentiment and ornament hangers are embossed in silver and shiny IRL.

Products Used:

Stamp Sets: Holiday Ornaments Stamp and Cut (Hero Arts)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Smoky Slate (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper: Polar Pals (Doodlebug)
Ink Pads: Bamboo, Frosty Pink (Altenew), Soft Granite (Hero Arts), Versamark (Tsukineko)
Tools: Big Shot, Heat Tool
Accessories: Silver Embossing Powder (Simon Says Stamp)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave a comment, and then head over to visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players. We hope you'll play along with our challenge this week, too!

Inky hugs :)

Those colours didn't say Christmas to me either but you and some of the others have shown me I was wrong. These baubles look great in non-traditional colours. I do love that background paper too. Great card!

What a classically elegant Christmas card Sandy - love the background paper that you framed those baubles with, so soft and pretty. Nice and flat for posting too!

Sandy, I can't believe so many of you went for Christmas... I had never thought about Christmas with these colors - BUT your amazing creations made me rethink that! I love how much texture you got onto the card from the DSP and the ornaments. Absolutely stunning card.
