CAS Painted Flowers

Hi friends! It's Sunday and that means time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! This week the wonderful and talented Laurie is our hostess with a sketch challenge. I love the curve in this sketch and had so many ideas for it.

I played around with a couple different ideas, but in the end like the clean and simple look of this card best. The Painted Flowers stamp set was the first one I ever purchased from Altenew, and remains my favorite, mostly because the sketchy look of it is very forgiving :) I think I've only ever used this curved edge die once before, and it was good to dust that off, too.

I've been checking out some new (to me) challenge blogs recently, and today I thought I'd share my card at Addicted to Stamps and More, where the challenge is Anything Goes. Another new-to-me blog is Happy Little Stampers, where the challenge is Anything Goes with dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave a comment, and then head over to visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players. We hope you'll play along with our challenge this week, too!

  2. Sandy, I love the black that separates the two white background pieces - it really helps your fabulously colored image pop off the page. The pink, black and white is classic. Such a great take on the sketch

  5. Love the flowers so much. Did you color them in yourself or stamp them in two tones? Love the black accents.

  11. I just ADORE this! I love the way you've used the sketch, the colours you've picked. It's simply elegant. Painted Flowers was the first Altenew set I bought too (not that I have many) and it's gorgeous. And snap to the curved die as well - i have that and have seldom used it either but it came in handy with this sketch! Just love, love, love this Sandy.
