Little Green Apples, PP351

Hi Stampers! I hope all my friends in the U.S. are enjoying a safe and happy Independence Day weekend. Actually, I hope you all are enjoying a safe and happy weekend! As I mentioned in my last post, I am just back from a month long blogging break and I must say, I missed my team-mates at The Paper Players. The wonderful Joann is our hostess this week, and she has chosen "Class of 2017" as our theme.

I used my Lawn Fawn Thanks a Bushel stamp set, and though I've used this set several times before, I've never colored the apples green. I love how fresh they look, and the touches of black provide some contrast as well as make this card a little more "grown up".

I'm also playing along with the Anything Goes challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday blog.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Thanks a Bushel (Lawn Fawn)
Card Stock: Solar White, Desert Storm (Neenah), Green Apple, Black (Simon Says Stamp)
Patterned Paper: Spring (Carta Bella)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Thanks a Bushel Dies, Stitched Rectangle Dies (Lawn Fawn)
Accessories: Black Twine (Hemptique), White Gel Pen (Signo)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please visit the rest of our Design Team at The Paper Players, and we hope you'll play along with our challenge this week, too!

  8. Your apples are amazing. I swear I can taste them and that they're Granny Smiths! The colours are so beautiful but I think the smash-it-out-of-the-park detail is those perfectly places black and white hearts.

  11. Sandy, it's wonderful to see your fabulous creations back in the gallery :-) I love the green theme - it really helps to give the card such a clean appearance, but allows those gorgeous apples to shine. Fabulous card, my friend
