Blue Birthday, PP355

Hi friends! It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players! This week the wonderful and talented Laurie is our hostess with a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. These are so much fun! I went diagonally from the bottom left corner: Blue, Enamel Dots, Birthday.

This is my first use of the beautiful Kind Soul stamp set from Wplus9. What attracted me to this stamp set was that the bouquet was already assembled, and that I didn't have to spend a lot of time masking and layering. It's also more than big enough to cover an entire card front. It was lots of fun to color, too! I used my new favorite technique, coloring with Copics and then going back in with colored pencils to add some shading.

I'm also linking up to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, which is You've got The Edge (my leaves are slightly dangling over the edge), and at the Wednesday Challenge it's Anything Goes.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Kind Soul (Wplus9), Agapanthus (Technique Tuesday)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah)
Patterned Paper: Black and White Basics (My Favorite Things)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic
Colored Pencils: Prismacolor
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Rectangle Dies (Lawn Fawn), Kind Soul Die (Wplus9)
Accessories: Enamel Dots (Simple Stories)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave a comment, and then head over to visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players. We hope you'll play along with our challenge this week, too!

Inky hugs :)

The contrasting black background and dots just makes the flowers sing even more. What a fabulous card!

Your colouring is so beautiful - I've never tried to blend Copics and pencils and the effect is stunning; you really are the queen of florals for sure. 13. Sandy, I hadn't seen this stamp before - but I am in love with it. As you said, the fact that it is already assembled and doesn't need hours of masking really makes it an even more "must have" stamp. it really looks as though you spent a lot of time creating that bouquet. I love the stripes, the coloring and the little enamel dots are the perfect finishing touch.
    Gorgeous, my friend
