Amazing Mom, PP344 & MOJO496

Hello friends, and a Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! As you read this I'll likely be having brunch with my family. I hope you all have a nice day in store, too. It's also time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. The fabulous Claire is our hostess this week with a bold, tropical color challenge.

I've been doing a lot of watercoloring with white embossing lately; I hope you are not tired of it yet! I watercolored with my Zig markers again today. The bright colors matched the challenge colors perfectly. Though my Mom is no longer with me, I was thinking about her and how is amazing she was while I made this card.

The inspiration for my layout came from this week's sketch challenge at Mojo Monday.

  1. Sandy, Happy Mother's Day. I hope you had a wonderful brunch with your family. My Mom has been gone for 32 years and I still find it impossible to make Mother's Day cards. How wonderful that you thought of her when you were creating this card - and how gorgeous it turned out. The little black and white striped layer makes the colors pop off the page. Fabulous job
