Plum Blossoms, PP339

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. This week the wonderful Joanne is our hostess, and she has a fresh and lovely color combination for us. This trio of colors is so pretty together and I really loved working with them.

First, I stamped the floral images in Versamark Ink on watercolor card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder, doing some masking on the lower left side. Then I watercolored them, matching the colors as closely as I could to the challenge colors using Distress inks.  A little border of black and a sentiment embossed on black card stock provide some contrast.

I'm also playing along with the flower theme at the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Beautiful Lady (Altenew)
Card Stock: Sahara Sand (Stampin' Up), Black (Simon Says Stamp), Bristol Smooth Watercolor Card Stock (Strathmore)
Ink Pads: Versamark; Evergreen Bough, Mowed Lawn, Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, Old Paper Distress Inks (Tim Holtz)
Tools: Heat Tool, Watercolor Brushes (Tim Holtz)
Accessories: White Embossing Powder (Simon Says Stamp)

Thanks for paying me a visit today! Please visit the rest of our Design Team at The Paper Players, and we hope to see your creation in the gallery, too!

Inky hugs!
