Lucky Latte, PP335


Greetings, friends! This week at The Paper Players the fabulous Jaydee is our hostess, and she's chosen a seasonal color combination for us. Love it! I had an idea right away.


I had lots of fun combining stamp sets from different companies to create this card. I was originally going for Irish coffee, my daughter thinks it looks like a Shamrock Shake, but I think I've decided it's a Shamrock Frappucino. Doesn't that sound yummy? 


The cup is from a Reverse Confetti stamp set, the whipped cream is borrowed off a cupcake set by Avery Elle, the sentiment which is so perfect for this time of year is from Ellen Hutson, and my little shamrock is from Lawn Fawn. I think it's such fun that they all worked so well together. As least I thought so!

Sandy, this is one of my favorite St. Patrick's Day cards. I don't really celebrate this holiday, but if I did, I would LOVE to receive this card! Coffee is a favorite of mine! This sentiment is perfect! Love your mix of patterns, too! Wishing you a lovely week, My Friend! XX

Oh my gosh, Sandy, this is as cute as can be! I can't believe you successfully pulled together all those different stamps--what a fabulous project. I think I love the whipped cream on top of the latte best of all--especially with that sweet little shamrock. Aren't we lucky to have a friend like you!!

Sandy, I followed you here through Leslie Miller's blog. Love this card. Like you, I love it when I can combine images from several companies. What I noticed was how well the line width of all images and the sentiment font fit. You would never know that it wasn't a complete stamp set from one company. It's an adorable card and just perfect to send for St. Patrick's Day. Hat's off to you! (she smiles)
