Lucky Latte, PP335

Greetings, friends! This week at The Paper Players the fabulous Jaydee is our hostess, and she's chosen a seasonal color combination for us. Love it! I had an idea right away.

I had lots of fun combining stamp sets from different companies to create this card. I was originally going for Irish coffee, my daughter thinks it looks like a Shamrock Shake, but I think I've decided it's a Shamrock Frappucino. Doesn't that sound yummy?

The cup is from a Reverse Confetti stamp set, the whipped cream is borrowed off a cupcake set by Avery Elle, the sentiment which is so perfect for this time of year is from Ellen Hutson, and my little shamrock is from Lawn Fawn. I think it's such fun that they all worked so well together. As least I thought so!

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Caffeinated Cups, Be A Barista (Reverse Confetti), Cupcakes (Avery Elle), Fancy Thanks (Ellen Hutson), Hats Off to You (Lawn Fawn)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah)
Patterned Paper: Emerald One (Authentique)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Caffeinated Cups Dies (Reverse Confetti), Cupcakes Dies (Avery Elle)
Accessories: White Bakers Twine (Stampin' Up)

Thanks for visiting! I'd love for you to leave a comment, then please check out the creations of the rest of our Design Team at The Paper Players. We'd love for you to play along, too!

Sandy, this is one of my favorite St. Patrick's Day cards. I don't really celebrate this holiday, but if I did, I would LOVE to receive this card! Coffee is a favorite of mine! This sentiment is perfect! Love your mix of patterns, too! Wishing you a lovely week, My Friend! XX

Oh my gosh, Sandy, this is as cute as can be! I can't believe you successfully pulled together all those different stamps--what a fabulous project. I think I love the whipped cream on top of the latte best of all--especially with that sweet little shamrock. Aren't we lucky to have a friend like you!!

Sandy, I followed you here through Leslie Miller's blog. Love this card. Like you, I love it when I can combine images from several companies. What I noticed was how well the line width of all images and the sentiment font fit. You would never know that it wasn't a complete stamp set from one company. It's an adorable card and just perfect to send for St. Patrick's Day. Hat's off to you! (she smiles)
