Kitty Dreams for Seize the Birthday

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!

This time around the "Toppings" options is to use vellum. I love the topping options as they really inspire me to try new things, but remember you can also chose to do an Anything Goes birthday card, the choice is yours!

I had fun using my favorite cat themed stamp set from My Favorite Things, and some cute cat themed patterned paper by Doodlebug. Originally I had some much more creative ideas with what I wanted to do with vellum, but in the end I just used it as a panel to soften my background. It's pierced around the border though that doesn't show up in the photos. Adhering vellum without signs of the adhesive can be tricky, but my favorite way to do it is with a thin mist of Elmer's Spray Adhesive.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: I Knead You (My Favorite Things)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), White Vellum (Bazzill)
Patterned Paper: Kitten Smitten (Doodlebug)

I'm so glad you paid me a visit today! If you have a moment please leave a comment, then visit the rest of the wonderful Design Team at Seize the Birthday. We'd love for you to play along, too!
