Valentine Love, PP330

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper PlayersThis week the sweet and talented Claire is hostess, and she's helping us get going on our Valentine's Day creations!

I recently purchased a new patterned paper stack called Kitten Smitten (can you stand it?!), and this pretty piece inspired my card. I really love the colors. I just mounted it on some black card stock, and all that was left to do was add a little banner and a sentiment. I cut the sentiment three times also from black card stock and stacked them up. Then I coated it liberally with Wink of Stella, and finally a thick coat of Glossy Accents. It's super shiny and sparkly IRL!

I'm also sharing this card at the Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp, which is The Color of Love, and the Love and Romance theme at The Card Concept. I was inspired by the colors and pretty patterns.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Love Stamp & Cut (Hero Arts)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Black (Simon Says Stamp)
Patterned Paper: Kitten Smitten (Doodlebug)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Soft Pink (Hero Arts)
Tools: Big Shot, Love Stamp & Cut Die (Hero Arts)
Accessories: White Baker's Twine (Stampin' Up), Glossy Accents (Ranger), Wink of Stella (Zig)

Before I go, I thought I'd share a quick pic of Ollie. Why must he always sit right there in front of the monitor? Clearly it's all about him. He's got quite the look of attitude on his face too, as though how dare I think otherwise!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Please leave a comment, then head over to The Paper Players to see the creations of our fabulous team. We hope you'll join us in our challenge this week, too!
