Modern Hydrangeas, PP331

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. This week our wonderful leader Nance is hostess, and she has a gorgeous, elegant color combination for us. Though I love this color combo it took me a while to decide on a subject matter, but I finally settled on (ahem..) flowers!

I had a brand new Altenew stamp set sitting on my desk just begging to be inked up. As this is a layering set, I first heat embossed the outline with copper embossing powder. Then I stamped the next two layers with blush colors, and the final layer with copper pigment ink. As the pigment ink takes a while to dry, I had time to move the ink around a little with a Versamarker and add a little more detail. I have to say I really love the end result, and these hydrangea stamps are just gorgeous. The two coppers are so pretty together too, one shiny and one shimmery.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Garden Hydrangea (Altenew)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah)
Ink Pads: Morning Frost, Moon Rock, Evening Gray, Blush, Rouge (Altenew), Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Cosmic Copper Brilliance (Tsukineko)
Markers: Versamarker (Tsukineko)
Tools: Big Shot, Heat Tool, Garden Hydrangea Dies (Altenew)
Accessories: Washi Tape (Recollections), Copper Embossing Powder (Hero Arts), Moonshine Sequins (Simon Says Stamp)

Thanks for visiting me today! Please pay a visit to the rest of our Design Team at The Paper Players, and we hope to see your creation in the gallery, too!

Sandy, hydrangeas are my absolute favorite flower and I never would have pictured them in this color combo, but this card is beautiful! I was a little bit surprised when I did my card for this challenge that gray and copper actually DO go together! : )
