Modern Hydrangeas, PP331

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. This week our wonderful leader Nance is hostess, and she has a gorgeous, elegant color combination for us. Though I love this color combo it took me a while to decide on a subject matter, but I finally settled on (ahem..) flowers!

I had a brand new Altenew stamp set sitting on my desk just begging to be inked up. As this is a layering set, I first heat embossed the outline with copper embossing powder. Then I stamped the next two layers with blush colors, and the final layer with copper pigment ink. As the pigment ink takes a while to dry, I had time to move the ink around a little with a Versamarker and add a little more detail. I have to say I really love the end result, and these hydrangea stamps are just gorgeous. The two coppers are so pretty together too, one shiny and one shimmery.

Wow - the detail on your flowers is amazing Sandy and these colours are perfect for a hydrangea. So much detail to these blooms, I can't stop looking at them! Just gorgeous.

Sandy, hydrangeas are my absolute favorite flower and I never would have pictured them in this color combo, but this card is beautiful! I was a little bit surprised when I did my card for this challenge that gray and copper actually DO go together! : )

Oh my, these hydrangeas are stunning! The copper embossing is so elegant and the blush color adds gorgeous shading. Love that strip of black striped paper--so fresh and modern. Fabulous card, my friend!
