Hi everyone! It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. This week our wonderful leader Nance is hostess, and she has a gorgeous, elegant color combination for us. Though I love this color combo it took me a while to decide on a subject matter, but I finally settled on (ahem..) flowers!
I had a brand new Altenew stamp set sitting on my desk just begging to be inked up. As this is a layering set, I first heat embossed the outline with copper embossing powder. Then I stamped the next two layers with blush colors, and the final layer with copper pigment ink. As the pigment ink takes a while to dry, I had time to move the ink around a little with a Versamarker and add a little more detail. I have to say I really love the end result, and these hydrangea stamps are just gorgeous. The two coppers are so pretty together too, one shiny and one shimmery.
