Just A Note, PP332

Hi friends, and Happy Sunday! I hope you all have a relaxing day in store. This week at The Paper Players, the wonderful Laurie is our hostess, and her Clean and Simple challenge is to use a sentiment as your focal point.

I don't have much in the way of large sentiments suitable for a focal point, but I did have this one that I got as a freebie at the Mama Elephant show last year and it hadn't seen any ink yet. I was glad to have it; I think it worked perfectly for this challenge. I did some subtle background stamping and sponging and then die cut the background with a stitched border die. Then, I placed the sentiment in my Misti, and stamped it three times so it would be a nice rich black that stands out well from the background. After I finished it, the thought occurred to me that a set of these in a box would make a nice gift. Hopefully I will find the time to do that!

I am also playing along with the Simon Says Samp Wednesday Challenge, which is Fantastic Florals.
