Inlay Hearts for Seize the Birthday

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!

This time around the "Toppings" options is Inlay Die Cuts. Remember, you can also chose to do an Anything Goes birthday card, the choice is yours!

I've had this die from Impression Obsession on my desk for a few weeks and this was the perfect opportunity to put it to use. I was inspired by a card from Lisa at I'm in Haven, though I don't think Lisa inlaid her hearts. Regardless, I love the colors she used. My daughter loves anything rainbow and I knew it would be perfect for her.

It took a little longer than I expected to piece this together as there are lots of different sized hearts in this die, but it was fun, like a puzzle! While I was at it I made a second card with the cuts, and have plenty left over for a few more cards.

With the first card I am also playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, which is to use your favorite tool (my Big Shot), and with the second the Casology Challenge which is Romance.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Birthday Greetings (Altenew), Crazy About You (Stampin' Up), Garden Hydrangea (Altenew)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Schoolhouse Red, Doll Pink, Orange Peel, Sunshine, Green Apple, Audrey Blue, Lavender (Simon Says Stamp)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Tools: Big Shot, Heart of Hearts Die (Impression Obsession)

I'm so glad you paid me a visit today! If you have a moment please leave a comment, then visit the rest of the wonderful Design Team at Seize the Birthday. We'd love for you to play along, too!

Inky hugs :)
