Cups of Kindness, SIP87 & CTD431

Hi friends! I am guilty of staying up a wee bit too late last night. There were a few challenges I really wanted to play along with, and wanted to finish up my card and post it while the inspiration was still fresh. I used the retired Simon Says Stamp stamp set Cups and Succulents, which I've only ever used once before, and it was happy to see some ink. This video by Sandy Allnock was very helpful in doing some partial die cutting of the images as there are separate dies for the foliage and the cups.

The challenges that inspired me are the kindness theme at Stamp Ink Paper, the colors and inspiration at Color Throwdown, and at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge it's Anything Goes with an emphasis on Simon products.

  1. I love this card, Sandy! Succulents have recently become something I think are so unique - both in gardens and on paper! But, I love that these are in little teacups. Too cute. Hugs, Crystal

  4. Sandy your coloring is beautiful and thanks for the tip on the partial die-cutting. I love the way you ground the pots with the piece of washi tape. I never think to do that - but really need to remember that technique. Absolutely gorgeous and worth staying up for :-)
