Unforgettable Birthday

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!

This time around the "Toppings" options is Dashes and Doodles. You can also chose to do an Anything Goes birthday card, the choice is yours!

I am not at all good at doing anything freehand, so this challenge was challenging for me! I decided to keep it simple and just make a border of dots and dashes. I hope it doesn't look too much like Morse code! I had fun coloring the critters from this Mama Elephant stamp set which I purchased at the show back in October, but only inking it up for the first time. I borrowed a little balloon that was just the right size and shape from a Lawn Fawn set.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Ella and Friends (Mama Elephant), So Much to Say (Lawn Fawn)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah)
Patterned Paper: Happy Day (My Minds Eye)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic, Tuxedo Black Dual Marker (Memento)
Tools: Big Shot, Ella and Friends Dies (Mama Elephant)

I'm so glad you paid me a visit today! If you have a moment please leave a comment, then visit the rest of the wonderful Design Team at Seize the Birthday. We'd love for you to play along, too!

Inky hugs :)

Howdy Sandy,

What a fun card! The dashes round the edge was good thinking. I love how you married different stamp sets together, it takes talent to pull it off so nicely.
