Purr-fect Valentine, FMS271

Hi everyone! Some cards I have more fun making than others, and this one was lots of fun. I'm a kitty lover, and I had two cats in mind when I made this card for my son and his girlfriend. Here they are, the cats, that is!

Their cat Bean, a female, is on the left. My cat Ollie, a male, is on the right. Though they have never been formally introduced, I think they would be friends. After all, they have a lot in common! They are in many ways the mirror image of one another. I hope they'll see the resemblance of the kitties on the card. I have been practicing coloring a black cat, no easy task.

Though I had an idea of what I wanted to make, I've been patiently waiting for a sketch to inspire me and this one by Cindy at Freshly Made Sketches was purr-fect! Sorry, couldn't help myself, lol!

We are owned by two cats also (our Tommy looks just like your Ollie!) I love making cards with cats because my kids loving getting cards "from the cats". (And my kids are 17 and 21!) It's a charming image and works perfectly with the sketch. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
