Falling Leaves, CTS205

Hi everyone. I hope you are all having a good week so far. The weather has been crazy here on the east coast and it rained, rained, rained all day yesterday. A great day to stay indoors and craft :) The technique I used on my card today was one I learned at the Altenew Academy online class I am taking, Beyond Basic Backgrounds. I used my leaf die to create a stencil, and then sponged the ink in an ombre fashion through the stencil onto my card front. Afterward I heat embossed over the sponged areas.

The layout at CAS(E) this sketch was just right for my completed panel, and I'm also submitting to the Anything Goes challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Peony Bouquet, Painted Greetings (Altenew)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), White Vellum (Stampin' Up), Green Leaf (Simon Says Stamp)
Ink Pads: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen (Altenew), Veramark
Tools: Big Shot, Heat Tool, Peony Bouquet Dies (Altenew)
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Moonshine Sequins (Simon Says Stamp), Cotton Thread

Thanks for stopping by!
