Joyful Christmas Wishes

Hi friends! It rained here all day yesterday, a perfect day to stay indoors in fuzzy slippers and stamp! I was inspired to play along with a few challenges, and created this Christmas card with my Joy to the Woods stamp set, stamped in Memento ink and colored with Copic markers.

I'm playing along with four challenges today. First, the Bird theme at Merry Monday. Second, the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches (I used the mirror image of the sketch, with the trees as my vertical element). Next, the colors at The Challenge Christmas Inspiration. Finally, it's Anything Goes at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

I always struggle capturing sparkle and shine in my cards. The ornament is sparkly and glossy. I colored with Copic markers first, then a generous layer of Wink of Stella, and finally a thick coat of Glossy Accents. I used some Dazzling Details to add some thicker sparkle to the trees.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Joy to the Woods (Lawn Fawn)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Real Red, Crumb Cake (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper: Let's Bokeh in the Snow (Lawn Fawn)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Stitched Hillside Border Dies, Joy to the Woods Dies (Lawn Fawn)
Accessories: Dazzling Details (Stampin' Up), Wink of Stella (Zig), Glossy Accents (Ranger)

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!

It is tricky trying to capture that gloss and sparkle isn't it - but I can see it. It's gorgeous.
