Watercolored Sunflowers

Hi friends! I was excited to see that over the last week quite a few of the challenges that were taking a break for the summer months are back. So many more reasons to get crafty! As though I need much encouragement...

My watercolored card today features Sunflowers from Technique Tuesday's Greenhouse Society. I stamped and heat embossed two of them with white EP, masked them, and then heat embossed the third. It took a bit of time to cut out all those little petals, but I think it was worth it. The sentiment was die cut four times, three times in white and once in colored card stock, then stacked together for a little added dimension.

Today I am playing along with three challenges. First is the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch. I was inspired by Jen's card to use a die cut sentiment, as it would cover up the least of my watercolored panel. For my subject matter, I was inspired by the Sunflower theme and colors at Inspired by All the Little Things. The theme at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Stamp It.
