Neutral Birthday Wishes, PP314

Hi friends! It's a beautiful Autumn day here in New York and temperatures have cooled down quite a bit. It's feels quite refreshing after a long, hot summer! Today at The Paper Players, the fabulous Joanne is our hostess and she has a sketch for us to play along with. I love it and had an idea right away. I love when that happens!

This card will go to my sister-in-law who is an amazing decorator and always does her homes in fabulous neutral shades with lots of texture. I tried to channel her style and I hope she likes it. I used three different Altenew stamp sets, two florals and one for the sentiment. I also used their warm gray inks, which layer up fabulously.

I'm also playing along with two other challenges today, the Ultimate Challenge blog hop at Altenew, and Soft and Simple challenge at Seize the Birthday.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Beautiful Day, Peony Bouquet, Beautiful Lady (Altenew)
Card Stock: Whisper White, Basic Black (Stampin' Up), Woodgrain Textured (Altenew)

  4. Wow. Just wow. I think I managed to pick my jaw up off the floor just so that I could say "wow" out loud. What a wonderful balance of texture and neutrals you've created. And I'm no decorator but I'm pretty sure that your sister in law is going to love this as well!
