Hi stampers! So, I have to confess, I really have been struggling with my creativity this last week or so. Part of the problem is that my free crafty time has been isolated to the evenings, and I am not a night owl at all. Give me a hot shower and some caffiene in the morning, and I am an energizer bunny until dinnertime. Then begins the slow descent... Well I was stuck at home yesterday waiting for a delivery in the morning, so I had a chance to craft before the eyelids began to droop, yay!
I purchased the Altenew Beautiful Lady stamp set because of its great selection of beautiful sentiments, and this lantana blossom was a bonus as far as I was concerned. Once I had it mounted on a block I stamped it in several different mediums. For this card, I used Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, then watercolored with distress inks.
Is there a challenge in here? Of course, silly! I adore Linda's layout at Freshly Made Sketches. The theme at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is Celebrate, and the colors at Colour Q were perfect for a floral creation.
