Hi, everyone! It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. This week, our wonderful Laurie is hostess and she has a fun tic tac toe board for us to play along with. I went diagonally from the top left: Enamel Dots, Patterned Paper and Die Cut.
BTW: Scroll all the way down if you want to see some of my vacation pics :)
Today I'm playing with some new Altenew products. I know... every time you read one of my posts I am talking about new stuff. Hello, my name is Sandy and I am a stampaholic, lol! Anyhow, I used three stamp sets here, mixing some floral images from two sets and a sentiment from another. My strip of patterned paper is to the far left, and you can see the subtle pattern a bit better in the close up. I really like the way this card came out. These Altenew images are so beautiful.
I'm also playing along with the challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, which is to add some texture to your card.
Stamp Sets: Peony Bouquet, Beautiful Day, Beautiful Lady (Altenew)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Woodgrain White (Altenew), Black (Simon Says Stamp)
Patterned Paper: Words of Love (Carta Bella)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Peach Parfait, Rouge, Crimson (Altenew), Versamark
Tools: Big Shot, Peony Bouquet and Beautiful Day Dies (Altenew), Heat Tool
Accessories: White Fine Detail Embossing Powder (Simon Says Stamp)
And now, just a few pics from my vacation in Niagara Falls...
I took sooo many pictures of the amazing falls and certainly won't bore you with them all. We stayed on the Canadian side of the falls, and this is a view of the New York falls on the Canadian side.
This is from the top of Horseshoe falls, which is kind of cool because it was like being on the top of a bottomless abyss.
We were on this boat (or ship? I can never get that right) going into Horseshoe Falls. I didn't realize how soggy I would be all week! A very bad hair week, lol!
Finally, just a short video to help you appreciate the force with which these waters fall. Certainly not a trickle. Six million cubic feet a minute, to be exact. I took this while on the Journey Behind the Falls.
Thanks for visiting and I do hope you will leave a comment! Then please head over to The Paper Players to see the awesome creations from the rest of our team, and hopefully play along, too!
