Be Happy, SIP55

Hi everyone! I hope all of you in the U.S. enjoyed a nice long holiday weekend, and that the rest of you had a nice weekend, also. It's Tuesday and that means it is time for a new challenge at Stamp Ink Paper. This week it is a sketch, courtesy of moi!

I have a confession to make, sometimes I struggle making a card! Last week I was working on a card for a color challenge, and four cards wound up in the trash before I came up with something I liked. Not this time, but this time it was too easy, lol! No stamps, ink or tools were required, and I kind of feel guilty that it came together so fast. I know... I have issues :) The star of the show here is the patterned paper and journaling cards from Authentique which I gave center stage. I only needed to add a couple of embelishments and this card was complete. I love the sentiment and I think it will be perfect for a friend that could use some encouragement.

Most of my card ingredients came from an old Simon Says Stamp card kit, and I thought it would be appropriate to play along with their Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes!

Products Used:
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah)
Patterned Papers: Classique Beauty, Glistening (Authentique)
Accessories: Classique Beauty Journaling Cards (Authentique), Black Baker's Twine (Stampin' Up), Enamel Dots (Echo Park)

Thanks for visiting! Now I hope you will stop by and visit the rest of the team at Stamp Ink Paper, and hopefully play along, too!

Inky hugs!

I love your color scheme and the way you featured this lovely sentiment, Sandy! Thanks for sharing it with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!

Hi Sandy, I love your colors. I'm kind of tired of pink and grays. The yellow looks so fresh. The quote is really perfect.
