Hi friends! This week at The Paper Players, Joanne is our hostess with the mostess and she has a fabulous sketch for your crafting pleasure. I love simple sketches like this as they leave lots of room for interpretation.
One of my favorite subjects to use on cards is cute little kitties, especially to make cards for my fellow kitty lovers. I had great fun creating this card, imagining my own little rascal pouncing on my yarn as I try to crochet, which happens frequently! It was stamped in Memento Ink and colored with Copic markers using X-press It Blending Cardstock. I wish I would remember to use this card stock all the time when I am coloring as it is such a pleasure to blend on.
Stamp Sets: I Knead You, Paw Print Background (My Favorite Things)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Bermuda Bay (Stampin' Up),
X-press It Blending Cardstock (Copic)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Smoky Slate (Stampin' Up)
Tools: Big Shot, I Knead You Dies (My Favorite Things), Stitched Circle and Cross Stitch Rectangle Dies (Lawn Fawn)
This post would't be complete without a picture or two of Ollie!
He certainly does love yarn. Here he is playing with a strand. You can see the blanket I was trying to crochet on the bottom left before I was interrupted by his antics.
Here he actually climbed into the bag of yarn and took a nap. Such a silly boy!
Thank for stopping by, and please visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players! We hope you'll play along with our challenge this week, too!
