PP300 Celebration Challenge and Giveaway

Hello, friends! Today is a special day at The Paper Players as we are celebrating our 300th challenge, woo hoo! I have not been on the DT since the very beginning, which was in 2010, but it's fair to say that the challenge has evolved a lot over the years. I'd like to give a special shout out to Lesley Croghan, the creator of this challenge, and to Nance Leedy, our fearless leader and badge designer extraordinaire. You guys rock, and I'm so priveleged to be part of this awesome team.

Now on to this week's challenge... It's a Clean and Simple theme challenge from Jaydee: Celebration! To celebrate this occasion we have blog candy to give away, and lots of it! The team has assembled not one, not two, but ten grab bags full of stamping goodness! To be eligible to win one, all you need to do is play along with our challenge this week. You can play as many times as you like, but each needs to be a new project (no back linking, please) and see The Paper Players blog for our other challenge rules. Winners will be selected from all PP300 challenge participants using and will be posted on Saturday, July 25.

Now on to my creation... I wanted to use the word "celebrate" or "celebration" somewhere in my project, so when I came across it in one of my stamp sets, that became my inspiration. Do you remember when I was on a purple kick recently? Well I looked at my last few recent creations and clearly I'm on a blue kick now. I did my best to keep it CAS by making my card monochromatic and maintaining some white space. My only embellishment is a few enamel dots; I love those things!

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Birthday Bits (Simon Says Stamp)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Soft Sky (Stampin' Up), Black (Simon Says Stamp)
Patterned Paper: Happy Things ( Pink Fresh Studios)
Ink Pads: Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, Coastal Cabana (Stampin' Up), Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Accessories: Enamel Dots (Echo Park)

Thanks for stopping by! If you haven't already, please visit the rest of our Design Team at The Paper Players. After that I hope you'll head off to your craft room to play along with our challenge this week, and maybe win a prize!

Inky hugs :)
