Summer Vacation Owl, SIP48

Hi friends! It's Tuesday and time for a new challenge at Stamp Ink Paper. This week it's a color challenge, from me!

I finally completed a project I have been working on for quite a while, and have been thinking about even longer. Though I'm not a big fan of punch art, I do really like the Stampin' Up Owl Builder Punch, and over the years have dressed it up for different occasions and holidays. I had an idea to make fridge magnets with it, one for each month. I used the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp Set for the month names and some of the backgrounds.

The actual magnets measure 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", and were purchased at Christmas Tree Shop, two for $1. I didn't photograph the panels inside the frames because of the reflection of the acrylic. I also want to mention that though not on my supply list, a Fine Tip Glue Pen and a good pair of craft tweezers are very helpful in assembling these tiny pieces. By changing out the month to a sentiment, each of these could easily be a fun card.

So where are the other eleven months, you might ask? You'll have to come back tomorrow! Today is just a teaser :) I'll be posting the first six months tomorrow, and the next six months on Thursday with detailed supply lists for each month.
