Happy Birthday Girl, PP297

Hi friends! It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. This week it's a fun Tic-Tac-Toe challenge from the awesome Joanne. I went down diagonally from the top left corner: Yellow, Die Cut and Paper Clip.

I took a break from my usual florals today and used the sweet little birthday girl from the Happy Banner stamp set. I paper pieced her dress and hair bow, and colored the rest with Copics. Though this card would work for any age, I think the colors have more of a grown up feel to them.

I was inspired to play along with a few other challenges, too. I used the sketch at Mojo Monday, at the Simon Monday Challenge the theme is Make a Wish, and the toppings option at Seize the Birthday is Dimension, which I've added by using Dimensionals between my layers.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Happy Banner (My Favorite Things)
Card Stock: Ivory, Fog (Simon Says Stamp), Crushed Curry (Stampin Up)
Patterned Paper: Classique Beauty (Authentique), Sweater Weather (Lawn Fawn)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Circle and Stitched Rectangle Dies (Lawn Fawn), Happy Banner Die (My Favorite Things)
Accessories: Enamel Dots (Echo Park), Mini Paper Clips (Tim Holtz)

Thank for stopping by, and please visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players! We hope you'll play along with our challenge this week, too!
