Hello my friends! It's Tuesday and time for a new challenge at Stamp Ink Paper. This week it's a color challenge, and what a delicious trio of blues it is. As soon as I saw it I was thinking along the lines of a nautical card.
I started out with this cute little sailboat from the Sailing stamp set. I stamped it with Memento ink and colored it with Copic markers. Then, I nestled the sailboat in some waves in all three challenge colors using the Splashy Waves Die. The card base was already embossed and sitting in my UFO box, a happy find! The sentiment from Hero Arts was heat embossed.
The inspiration for my layout came from this week's challenge at CAS(E) this sketch. I rotated the sketch 90 degress and used a different form of transportation :)
Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Sailing (Simon Says Stamp), Many Everyday Messages (Hero Arts)
Card Stock: Whisper White, Soft Sky, Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay (Stampin Up)
