Hello Dahlia, SIP43

Hi friends! I hope your week is going well so far. It's Tuesday and time for a new challenge at Stamp Ink Paper, and this week it's a fabulous sketch by Justin. I must admit, I don't normally gravitate to things "askew", as it conflicts with the Libra in me! I do like this one, though!

The big focal panel inspired me to use a large background stamp I've only used once before, Definately Dahlia. I inked it up with Blushing Bride ink, then used a sponge dauber to add some Calypso Coral ink to the center. I stamped it on watercolor paper, and used an aqua painter to blend and spread the colors a bit. I kept playing a bit more, and added some more Coral ink with the aqua painter to add a little more depth. I think I like it!

Products Used: (All Stampin' Up)
Stamp Sets: Delightful Dahlia
Card Stock: Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Watercolor Paper
Patterned Paper: Stacked with Love

Thanks for stopping by and I would be so happy if you left a comment! Then, head over to see what the rest of our Design Team has created at Stamp Ink Paper!

Have a terrific Tuesday!

This is so pretty, Sandy, I love it! I didn't know you were a Libra like me (LOL) but, I agree with your comments as well! Your card is beautiful; I appreciate reading your "how to," also... Thanks for sharing! Cheers, Donna

Ok so the first card you made with this stamp Sandy made me go out and buy it!! I love this one just as much! I will have to give this technique a go - so pretty, even if it the wonky thing doesn't sit well with you!
