Birthday Flowers

Hi friends! It's Sunday and that means it is time for a new challenge at The Paper Players. This week Joanne is our hostess with the mostess, and she has a fun color challenge for us.

I used stamps and paper from my newest Simon Says Stamp card kit, and some brand new ink pads from Hero Arts. They don't match the challenge colors exactly but this was as close as I could get. I hope Joanne doesn't mind :)

I was able to link up with a few other challenges with this card. I'm playing along with the sketch at Mojo Monday. At the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge the theme is Birthdays, and at Seize the Birthday the toppings option is Floral.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Birthday Flowers (Simon Says Stamp)
Card Stock: White, Black (Simon Says Stamp), Vellum (Bazzill)
Ink Pads: Cornflower, Lime Green, Ultra Pink, Tangerine, Neon Pink (Hero Arts), Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Rectangle and Stitched Circle Dies (Lawn Fawn), Diagonal Stripe Embossing Folder (Darice)

Thanks for visiting and I do hope you will join us this week at The Paper Players! Please check out the creations of the rest of our wonderful Design Team, too!

Inky hugs!

  7. That's a beautiful take on the sketch, Sandy! It was genius to use the vellum for that layer as it doesn't block the view of your pretty flowers!! Hugs, Darnell
