Hi friends! To those of you who celebrate, a very Happy Easter to you! My family and I will be going to my brother-in-laws house for dinner today. We always like going to his house for Easter because he is sure to have bunnies in his yard!
Today at The Paper Players, my sweet friend LeAnne is hostess. She has a fun sketch for us to play along with, and I liked it so much I made two cards. You'll have to tune in tomorrow for the second one.
I was initially perplexed about what to do with the main panel with three sections, but once I decided to treat it as one piece in sections, it made more sense to me. I used one of my new favorite stamp sets, You're So Lovely from Hero Arts. I also used my Mini Misti for the first time, and I love the fact that you can ink up your stamp twice over the same image for some nice rich color. I'll have to check out You Tube for some other ideas of what to do with it. Suggestions are welcome!
I adore this rich, beautiful color combo from Color Throwdown and couldn't wait to play along.
