I Love You, SIP33 & RS200

Hi Friends, and a happy Tuesday to you! Today at Stamp Ink Paper we have a new color challenge for you, Black, Red and Gold. You can easily use these colors to make a Valentine as I did, though that is totally optional.

I think the star of the show on this card are the wonderful coordinating patterned papers from the Carta Bella Words of Love stack. I was grateful to still have some scraps of long retired Riding Hood Red card stock from SU as it coordinates perfectly. The sentiment and small hearts are outlined images, which I stamped first in black ink and then filled in with black marker. I then cut the sentiment again four times in black and layered it all up for some added dimension.

I'm playing along with two other challenges today, the fabulous sketch at Retro Sketches, and Anything Goes at Simon Says Stamp.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Roses For You (Simon Says Stamp)
Card Stock: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red (Stampin' Up), Solar White (Neenah)
Patterned Paper: Words of Love (Carta Bella)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Tuxedo Black Dual Marker (Memento)
Tools: Big Shot, Roses for You Dies (Simon Says Stamp), Stitched Scalloped Border Die (Lawn Fawn)
Accessories: Gold Twine, Gold Sequins (Michael's)

Thanks for stopping by and I would be so happy if you left a comment! Then, head over to see the creations by the rest of our Design Team at Stamp Ink Paper!

Inky hugs!
