Kitty Sympathy

It's always so sad to hear someone has lost a beloved pet. Our good friends Hank and Sue recently lost their cat Smoky, so I made this card for them in "Smoky" shades of gray. Sue was the person who introduced me to stamping, for which I thank her infinitely! Our hubbies worked together for many years, and are both wonderfully supportive of our crafty addictions.

This is the only picture I have of little Smoky. Smoky had such a beautiful coat, was a bit spoiled, ate only canned tuna, and loved to play with rubber bands.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Feline Better (My Favorite Things), Thinking of You (Clearly Besotted)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Basic Gray, Basic Black (Stampin' Up)
Patterned Paper: Neutrals Stack (Stampin' Up)
Ink Pads: Smoky Slate (Stampin' Up), Versamark, Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Heat Tool, Sponge Dauber, Stitched Rectangle Dies (Lawn Fawn), Feline Better Dies, Staggered Paws Stencil (My Favorite Things), Confetti Stars Punch (Stampin' Up)
Accessories: White Embossing Powder (Simon Says Stamp)

RIP Smoky, and hugs to you, Hank and Sue:)

Aw, what a thoughtful card for Hank & Sue. I am sure this will help them get through their loss of Smoky. It's so sweet!
