Balloon Birthday Wishes

Greetings, stampers! Today is the last Stamp Ink Paper challenge of the year, and Justin has a great one for us: Anything But Christmas. I love it! I do love Christmas but I've had enough of it for one year!

My September Simon Says Stamp card kit somehow got overlooked and this is the first card I've created with it. It was super simple to make, but I like it a lot. The patterned papers are just gorgeous, and the pastel colors look great with a little pop of black.

Since this is a birthday card, I am playing along with the Anything Goes challenge at Seize the Birthday.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Birthday Bits (SSS)
Card Stock: Cotton (SSS)
Patterned Paper: Happy Things (Pink Fresh Studios)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Accessories: Enamel Dots (Echo Park)

Thanks for stopping by! Please pay a visit to the rest of the Design Team at Stamp Ink Paper, and we hope you'll play along, too!

  6. Say it isn't so...too much Christmas? Never for me! LOL! However,I do love your non Christmas card, and at some point I suppose the holidays must be over. The colors are awesome with black, and I love the font of that sentiment. Happy New Year Sandy!

  9. I just adore this card. The soft colors are gorgeous, the layout is aweome, and you always know the perfect placement of your enamel dots. You would think that would not be hard but embellishment placement is a struggle for me every time. :)
