Playing Tic Tac Toe With The Paper Players

Hi friends! How are you all doing this crazy holiday weekend? I have been as busy as a bee. I spent Tuesday and Wednesday cooking and cleaning, and Thursday hosting Thanksgiving dinner. Friday we decorated the house for Christmas. I also made three turkey pot pies, and even found a Black Friday sale to purchase my first MacBook, woo hoo! Today my amazing niece is taking me to see The Nutcracker at the NYC Ballet. I am sooo excited, this is a bucket list item for me! OK enough babbling, on to the card...

I've been so busy that I had to be careful not to forget that this is my week to be hostess at The Paper Players! It is a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge, and you can you use it to make a holiday card as I did, though that is optional.  I went down the center column: Patterned Paper, Sparkle or Shine, Tree.

I had so much fun making this card using the Lawn Fawn Joy to the Woods stamp set. All of the images were stamped with Memento black ink, colored with Copic markers, and die cut. I used Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents on the ornaments for some shine, and SU Dazzling Details on the trees for some snowy sparkle. I was so happy with the way that it came out that I didn't want to cover any of it up with a sentiment, so I'll save that for the inside.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Joy to the Woods (Lawn Fawn)
Card Stock: Crumb Cake (SU), Solar White (Neenah)
Patterned Paper: Let's Bokeh in the Snow (Lawn Fawn)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Joy to the Woods Dies, Stitched Hillside Borders Dies (Lawn Fawn)
Accessories: Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents, Dazzling Details (SU)

Thanks for stopping by! Please visit the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players, and we hope you'll play along, too!

Sandy, I loved this challenge. Oh... and yeah... I'll join Claire on jealous about Nutcracker and NYC!!! Now... on to your card. I love the coloring and you know I love things in threes, so seeing the three ornaments - along with my favorite CHristmas bird, made me love this card even more

I love you're card Sandy - the colouring is amazing and the strong black edges make your card really sharp and defined. So many cute details too! This was a great challenge; normally tic-tac-you're scared me, but I could have worked this board several times over! Lucky you going to the ballet - hope you had a super time!
