Greetings, friends! It's Tuesday and that means it is time for a new challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper. This week it's a color challenge, and I absolutely love this combo!
I'm pretty focused on making Christmas cards now, and I thought this combo would lend itself to a modern holiday card. With a little splash of gold to make it festive, I think it's absolutely delish! All the products except for ink are Lawn Fawn. The trees are from two different sets but I thought they combined perfectly.
A have a few different gold ink pads, and I tried them out side by side to see which I liked best. The one I used, Galaxy Gold Brilliance by Tsukineko, was by far the shiniest and gave the best coverage. I have just a little mini pad that came in one of my Simon card kits, but this little ink pad packs a punch. I used it to stamp some of the trees and the stars, and I also used it direct to paper on the sentiment. Love it!
I'm also playing along with two other challenges today. The Lawnscaping Challenge is In With The Old, and pretty much everything I used to make my card is over a year old. At The Challenge, Lesley would like us to make a Christmas card.
