Hi friends! Today at Stamp, Ink, Paper Justin has a Clean and Simple challenge for us, Christmas. I am all over that one! I have quite a few (perhaps too many) new Christmas stamp sets and dies, and I'm itching to use them.
The image in the challenge badge inspired me to ink up the Hero Arts Color Layering Christmas Tree set using one of their Ombre Ink pads. I love the effect. The last layer was heat embossed with white embossing powder, and the rhinestones were colored with a sharpie. The star at the top of my tree is a late addition that you don't see on the SIP blog. I was complaining to my daughter that I couldn't find just the right star, and she excitedly shared a rhinestone star from her stash of nail art. Crafting supplies can be found anywhere!
Since I am using some Hero Arts products, I'm also going to enter this into the Hero Arts Holiday Cardmaking Challenge, and at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, it's Anything Goes.
